Location
Located in the picturesque village of Kaslo, British Columbia, With both the Selkirk and Purcell mtn ranges to choose from. A short 5 minute helicopter flight puts you on the edge of a vast winter play ground. 80,000 acre tenure is what makes the destination noteworthy to first- and veteran backcountry riders alike. Uniquely diverse, the area is predominantly comprised of high alpine bowls and steep old-growth forest. With ten times the terrain that whistler/Blackcomb has, there’s powder for everyone.
Stellar's snowfall is legendary. Receiving in excess of 60 feet of snow per winter and a tenure rising to over 10,000 feet, meaning that snow conditions are light, dry and deep even when warmer, wetter weather patterns persist in other parts of the B.C. interior.
